Vacuum + Centrifugal Combined Oil Purifier (FM Series)
Hybrid vacuum + centrifugal technology for high-viscosity oils
Combines centrifugal solid-removal with vacuum dehydration in one frame. Specifically designed for oil-film bearing oil and high-viscosity industrial lube oils.
- Two principles on one frame: solids by centrifuge, water by vacuum
- Built for oil that is both wet and dirty
- One machine where two would otherwise be needed

Technical specifications
| Separation principle | Centrifugal solids removal and vacuum dehydration on one frame |
|---|---|
| Oil types handled | Oil-film bearing oil and high-viscosity industrial lube oil |
| What it removes | Free water, dissolved gas and coarse solids in one pass |
What it removes
Water, gas, fine particulate and heavy solids, in one frame. The two separation principles cover for each other: the centrifuge takes the bulk solids and the free water that would blind a filter in hours, and the vacuum stage takes the dissolved water and gas that a centrifuge cannot touch. On high-viscosity oil, neither stage alone gets the job done in a reasonable time.
How it works
Oil passes the centrifugal stage first, so the vacuum stage sees oil that is already free of the load which would otherwise settle in the chamber and the filter. Vacuum dehydration then removes the dissolved water and gas at a temperature the oil tolerates. Running the two in series rather than choosing one is the design argument: a centrifuge is cheap to run and blind to dissolved water, a vacuum chamber is the opposite, and high-viscosity oil-film bearing oil has both problems at once.
Where it is used
Oil-film bearing systems on rolling mills and large rotating equipment, and high-viscosity industrial lube circuits: oil-film bearing oil carrying free water and a mill that took 2.2 tonnes of water out in a single day. Both are circuits where the oil is both wet and dirty, which is the combination a single-principle machine handles badly.
Options and service
Single skid with both stages, or two frames where access is tight. Automatic sludge discharge on the centrifugal side. Stage isolation valves, so either half can be serviced while the other keeps the circuit running.
Common questions
Why combine the two principles?
Because oil that is both wet and dirty is the combination a single-principle machine handles worst: a centrifuge cannot remove dissolved water, and a vacuum unit does not want the coarse load.
Which oils is it for?
Oil-film bearing oil and high-viscosity industrial lube oil on rolling mills and large rotating equipment.
What comes out in one pass?
Free water, dissolved gas and coarse solids.
