Chronic water ingress had emulsified the fluid year after year. After treatment, water content held at 800 ppm.
No.46 turbine oil with a leaking shaft seal — power station
A damaged shaft seal admitted 20 kg of water a day. The oil was treated online, without taking the unit down.
Where the units are built
Stainless membrane stacks, vacuum chambers and skid-mounted control cabinets, assembled on the same floor they are tested on. The standard series and the one-off skids come off the same benches.
