M-Type Centrifugal Oil Purifier (Upgraded)

Next-generation centrifugal purifier with broader oil-condition range

Replacement upgrade for legacy centrifugal separators. Wider viscosity and contamination tolerance, lower noise, easier maintenance.

  • Fits the footprint of the separator it replaces, on the existing foundation
  • Wider viscosity range and contamination tolerance than the legacy unit
  • Lower noise, and service items limited to the bowl and the drive

What it removes

Water and solids by centrifugal force, in a machine sized to drop into the space a legacy centrifugal separator already occupies. It handles a wider viscosity range and a wider contamination tolerance than the unit it replaces, which matters because the oil in an old system is rarely the oil the original machine was specified for.

How it works

The bowl spins the oil and separates on density: water and heavy solids to the outside, clean oil from the centre. The upgraded frame runs at lower noise and is laid out so the bowl can be serviced without dismantling the piping -- on the legacy machines, that access is usually the reason a separator gets bypassed and left idle. Wider tolerance means the unit keeps separating when the oil arrives dirtier than the original duty point.

Where it is used

As a drop-in replacement in plants that still have a centrifugal separator in the corner, and where the oil is dirty in bulk rather than fine: collected waste engine oil before decolourising regeneration and gear oil recovering from heavy contamination. In both, the centrifugal stage removes the load that would otherwise be spent on filter elements.

Options and service

Manual or automatic sludge discharge. Bowl and drive are the service items; the piping connections are arranged to match the footprint of the machine being replaced, so the swap does not require a new foundation.

Common questions

Does the swap need a new foundation?

No. The piping connections are arranged to match the footprint of the machine being replaced.

Why a wider viscosity range than the old machine?

Because the oil in an old system is rarely the oil the original separator was specified for.

What are the service items?

The bowl and the drive.
