What it removes
Water, gas and particulate from a small oil charge -- up to 5 cubic metres -- with the same principle as the larger frames and none of the extras a large plant needs. This is the model for a workshop, a small oil depot or a single machine tool that has been changing oil on a calendar instead of on a measurement.
How it works
A single vacuum chamber, a heater and a fine filter, on a compact frame. The dehydration principle is identical to the rest of the range: the chamber pressure is far below the vapour pressure of water, so water leaves at a temperature that does not degrade the oil. What has been left out is the automation, the multi-stage vacuum and the instrumentation -- the parts that only pay for themselves at high duty.
Where it is used
Small oil stations, machine-tool hydraulic tanks, and depots where a gear oil is being recovered to reuse standard rather than discarded. The economic case is narrow and clear: if a plant changes a few hundred litres a year, the saving is in not buying that oil, and the machine only needs to be good enough to make the oil reusable.
Options and service
Compact frame with castors for moving between machines. Manual control. Cartridge filtration, so the consumable is a standard part rather than a proprietary element.
Common questions
What has been left out compared with the larger frames?
The automation, the multi-stage vacuum and the instrumentation — the parts that only pay for themselves at high duty.
Who is it for?
A workshop, a small oil depot, or a single machine tool that has been changing oil on a calendar instead of on a measurement.
Can it be moved between machines?
Yes. It sits on a compact frame with castors.
